Transfer day at Lyon: air and rail arrivals.
At Lyon-Saint-Exupéry, our coaches collect groups at Terminal 1 or at the airport’s TGV station. Your group leader receives the exact meeting point and real-time instructions before arrival. We also collect from Lyon Part-Dieu station, so groups arriving by train are covered too.
We monitor every flight in real time, so a delay changes the timing, never the transfer. A meet and greet in the arrivals hall can be arranged on request.

Group FAQ
Questions organisers ask about Lyon.
Where does the coach meet us at Lyon Airport?
At Terminal 1 or at the Lyon-Saint-Exupéry TGV station, depending on your group’s arrival. Your group leader receives the exact meeting point and real-time instructions before travel, so the group goes straight from arrivals to the coach.
Can you collect groups arriving by train?
Yes. We collect from the Lyon-Saint-Exupéry TGV station, next to the airport terminals, and from Lyon Part-Dieu station in the city centre. Mixed groups arriving by air and rail can be combined on the same transfer.
How long is the transfer from Lyon to Val Thorens and the Tarentaise?
Around 2h45 by coach, via Chambéry and Albertville, then up the Tarentaise valley. On busy Saturdays our team follows traffic live and advises drivers on the best route. Alpe d’Huez and Les 2 Alpes are around 2h20.
Lyon or Geneva for the Tarentaise?
For Val Thorens, Méribel, Tignes and La Plagne, Lyon is slightly closer, at around 2h45 against 3h00 from Geneva, and offers more flight choice. Geneva is the better gateway for the Portes du Soleil, Mont-Blanc and the Aravis, at around 1h15.
Can you handle weekly changeovers for tour operators?
Yes. Lyon is our busiest airport, with more than 10,000 guests every winter, mostly on Saturday changeovers. One team plans and dispatches every transfer, with our own coaches and drivers.
What happens if a flight is delayed?
We track every flight in real time and move the transfer to your group’s actual arrival time. A delay changes the timing, not the service: the transfer you booked still runs.
